This spring, Kelsey Trail Health Region approached local businesses and organizations to host a free Summer Fun Night this summer to keep youth active and engaged. We jumped at the opportunity to host “Water Mania” in July as well as “The Amazing Race Treasure Hunt” in August. Both were a success in our books and we would like to send a big THANK YOU to all of those who attended. We can’t wait to do it again next year!
In July we also hosted our annual Free Swim at the pool where we cooked up some hot dogs, had a loonie toss, played PLINKO for prizes and enjoyed ice cream treats! We had another great turnout and also look forward to this event next year!
The 5th Annual Steak & Lobster Supper & Charity Auction has also come and gone. Together with the Parkland Co-op and local RCMP detachment we were able to raise $12,600 for local community organizations! A huge thank you to those who attended and donated items, you made our auction a great success! Click here to see how your organization can apply for funds.
Thank you for attending our Movie Day on Saturday, September 17th, co-sponsored by the Parkland Co-op. We hope you enjoyed the show! Also a thank you to Scouts for your work at the gate and concession.
